startAD : is Abu Dhabi-based global accelerator steering seed-stage technology startups to launch, develop, and scale their ventures” powered by Tamkeen تمكين and anchored at New York University Abu Dhabi.
The startAD Corporate Sprint Accelerator has graduated over 120 startups, resulting in 60 pilots and $80 Millions in funding raised! . And it’s now open for applications for its 8th cohort ( This year its focus is specifically on local and global startups disrupting the Fintech space )

The Program Details:
startAD’s Corporate Sprint Accelerator program is a 2-4 weeks sprint program that brings global startups in specific sector to the UAE and GCC. We run our CSA program with local partners who will have the chance to meet the startups on a 1:1 basis. The CSA program results in pilots awarded and/or cash incentives for the startups
Program Structure:
- Sector: Fintech
- Technology: Example: Blockchain, Crypto, & Remittance
- NO. of Startups per cohort: 8-12
- Format: Online Program
Our Role in the Program:
ALBRZA , Arabs in Blockchain will be the Ecosystem Partners of the Program, to work closely with startAD to ensure a successful delivery of the program leveraging the strengths of each organization. Ecosystem partners can nominate startups within their community ( Arab Blockchain Week and its related partners)
The Ecosystem Partners will :
- Gain access to innovative solutions and increased visibility through startAD.
- Support in Access to Subject matter experts in Blockchain and Crypto
- Coaching and mentorship of startups
- Help in Access to physical resources and Co-Working spaces
- Access to founding partners network for sales and business collaborations
- Access to SPV and Innovation License Company Registration through ADGM
- Opportunity to build your brand through our program’s social media strategy
- Leverage NYUAD’s resources and infrastructure
